So I upped and moved my comfortable lawyer life from Toronto to Boulder, Colorado in order to get a U.S. JD (14 months) and practice in this great state...

Oddly enough, the only pressing question I find myself with is...where do I go in Boulder for a hair-cut/style? I like the shoppes reminiscent of an older tyme, but preferably run by younger, entrepreneurial style mavens. I frequented Blood and Bandages in Toronto - anything similar to this in Boulder?

And yes, I am already in a little shock from the downgrade in cosmopolitan lifestyle, but goddamn I like it so far.

There are surprisingly some good places. I use a guy named Anthony who used to work at Al's on the hill, but he left to start his own place. http://www.rockbarbers.com/ If you are cool with driving 10 minutes out of town, he is definitely worth it. He's the kind of guy where you can sit down and he doesn't need instruction, and he won't do anything crazy unless you ask him too. Other than that, the other people at Al's are good and I'm sure theres more on the Hill and down near Pearl Street.

Went to Heidi at Al's - she did a good job for a first cut and explained (albeit unnecessarily) what she was doing while she did it, etc. Well done overall - thing is, she's expecting in about a month, sooooo....on to the next one!
