Jan (T4phage) told me that he would be more comfortable wearing this jacket if the colors were reversed, but this is strong enough for me. Anyway, it is an unusual vintage summer shetland fabric that I thought might be interesting:

Very nice Matt. I can definitely see that on you. It's interesting how fashion will dictate crazy new silhouettes (eg. Thom Browne) in not terribly interesting or good cloth, when it's so much easier and better to stand out and try something new by exploring the catalogs of cloth.

Thanks Andre. I really like it and it is much more attractive on that sitting on a hanger. I was a little nervous about it as you son't often see a pattern as large nowadays, but I think that it came out great.

They did a good job, I've seen that type of pattern be butchered. I'm liking patch breast pockets more and more. I'm thinking about double breast pockets on a tweed herringbone.

They mocked up a breast welt and breast patch and it was obvious that the patch looked better on such a strong pattern. They work with a ton of vintage fabrics, so they are very adept at patterns like this.

Oxxford does a nice patch shooting pocket. It looks good as a breast. Here...

I have one patch breast pocket and found to my dismay that the reduced size means my pocket squares spill inevitably out of it as if I was a New Orleans brothel manager (no offense to that fine city).

Nice touch on the patch chest pocket. I`ve never tried one, but now I am thinking I should try.
