Sneaker Recommendations?

I'm sad to say, but my Diesel sneakers are wearing out, and I need to replace them with something else. I absolutely loved the fit of them (cacao's) but am quite disappointed that I've walked through the sole in a little over a year (with heavy usage). I'm hoping you cats can post some recommendations. The goal is strictly casual (think denim and plain tees, possibly cargo shorts and plain tees), but still classy. You know, a cut above all the other sneakers out there (so no obvious branding). Also, these will be replacing my "every-day-casuals" so a neutral color would be great (black/grey/dark olive).

I've looked around and found one or two styles that look decent, hopefully this will help narrow the recommendations (basically low-cut, suede, slipper-esque sneakers):
Puma Chioda
Hugo Boss 19738
Lacoste Mandarin Unicorn (although I think this is more of a driving shoe)
Prada Americas Cup (if only it didn't have the glaring label)

Thanks in advance!

Okay, those are money. Where do I buy them? I've only seen Lavers in green.

Chuck Taylors are always a good option. Maybe the Varvatos versions, if you want to be a little different.

Zappos may have them, as may the online Adidas store. I've seen them at my local Adidas Classics store.

Hi Guys, I was wandering, I'm thinking of getting these, just a pair of vintage Pro Keds. Over the last few days I have been searching tirelessly for a pair of deck/boat shoes w/beige/cream canvas. What do you think?...

Pro Keds.

Or are they a no go, a stay away?.

Or would a pair of these be more recommended???...

Jack Purcell's. The normal ones made of canvas are great, but the leather versions are even better!
