Slim and sleek loake shoe

So I'm looking for a pair of shoes for my graduation this summer.

The ones that I currently can afford are loake shoes. Bases on the looks and what I've heard o their quality its pretty well spent money.

So the different models I've been looking at are the following:

Loake durham

Herring Hampstead (The same shoe as durham?)

Im looking for a shoe preferbly with semi-brouges, the durham models have to much for my taste, I would only like to have brouges on the toe cap.

And a shoe with very slim sole, the 201b model seems to have a very big and chuky sole compared to the hampstead.

So basicly a hampsteas with brouges, max price about 150 pounds.

So do you guys have any other suggestions? Also if anyone of you have any of these shoes please feel free to post pics of you wearing them.

Avoid the 201b - it's corrected grain rather than calf leather (hence the lower price).

The other Loake's are pretty good and the 026 last is reasonably sleek.

Not those models but I've got other Loake 1880's in the same 026 last (p.s. stick to the 1880's).

I'd also consider Barker. Pediwear have got some great deals on at the moment. My Barker shoes are miles better than my Loake 1880 "Badminton" brogues. After a year and half, my Barker's look great, have retained their shape and have a nice colour. My Loake's have lost their shape, the leather flexes a little like rubber when I walk and the eyelets are popping out! I've looked after both shoes - rotating them, keeping them in shoes trees, polishing, etc. That said, they do have a nice colour and they are reliable, but at some point this year they'll be retired to the charity shop. Certainly not worth the expense of re-soling. Would last 5 years tops.

Loakes are sleeker in reality than those awful pics on Pediwear. I have about eight pairs and have been wearing them for about five or six years on rotation with no signs of wear or problems other than usual wear and tear. I think they're great value.

Thank you very much for that link, the shoes are more expensive there then on pediwear but they had some great close up pictures of the shoes.

Ah okey, Ill check them out and see if I find anything thats like the loake durham
