How does the lining affect the fit? I'm pretty much a perfect 10 in the S-last, but the T-last does not fit as well... 10 is a bit tight and 10.5 is a bit big. Lining should make the fit better in the 10.5?

In the South (where I’m from), boots like that are normally worn with basically anything but suits. I wouldn’t tuck the pant leg inside the boot but that’s personal preference. Great for the colder months and relatively weather resistant.
Appreciated! I don't like the look of tucked-in neither but most of my pants/slacks are cut with slightly narrower bottom/opening. I am afraid I could never wear this.

Lining effect is minimal. But as it's a boot, my estimate is that UK 10.5 would actually be a god fit.

The Champlain GMTO / Crowdfunder is live. We already have 3 confirmed so I'm very certain this one will go into production.

A few comments in regards of the zipper. We tried it without and you can put the boots on without using the zipper, but it's a lot easier with it. It's not going to be a very visible part of the design as it's hidden on the inside, and it adds ease of use. The fur line will be in the vamp and sole only, not the full shaft. That will just be too warm IMO, even for Sweden.

Is that a split/storm welt? Seems smaller and more subtle than usual. Great looking boot - seems perfect for throwing on to walk the dog in winter...

So would anybody be interested in Group MTO for Gessi in different leather or color? For example Cognac Country Calf or maybe Utah calf or some other leather if @Leaves can acquire it. That Bonafe latigo printed leather looks really good.

There is a alpine leather in black http://www.aacrack.co.uk/leather-type/embossed/small-pattern/alpine-black-12-14.html

Scotchgrain http://www.aacrack.co.uk/leather-type/embossed/small-pattern/angus-firml-acorn-047-12-14.html

AA Crack has beautiful pin grain leather in several colors, http://www.aacrack.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?q=grain
Or something from https://tarnsjogarveri.com/wip/en/leather

I was thinking think of a Gessi in deerskin, chestnut color with a gumlite sole.

I’d love to see a rerun of the Patina Santos Field boots but with the addition of a coordinating colored suede shaft...

Patrik, did you see this post above.

What about vegetable tanned grain leather from https://tarnsjogarveri.com/wip/en/leather

I might be interested in fur line version too, but I will cannot make a decision until the first week of September. Is there a way to get that version without a zipper? Full Wellington.

I do not have a pin grain ready. I have not sourced one and before I can take orders for this material I need to make samples and see how to finish it nicely. It's a bit of a process and takes time, as I cannot accept orders without knowing how the final result will look. I will visit the factory in late August and have a look at some pin grains.

Thank you, keeps updated. I know you are not fond of short wings, but some of us are interested in short wing. Something to think about when you visit a factory :)

In on the Champlain! With my move to Rochester, NY I have a feeling these are perfectly timed for the snowy winters here. And a great name for being on the great lakes. :) The pattern and makeup really seems like a winner.
