yeah in that yuketen thread right? IMO it does give the site a bad image to occasional lurkers or people new to the site.

It did go away, but may be put back when the system is upgraded. A bunch of things were apparently really poorly coded in the current system, and combined with the increased traffic/number of queries, were causing hangups in the system (known as Mantonians). j disabled these features in order to get the forum running smoothly. We are actively looking at upgrading and improving the system right now.

Does the rate of time change as one approaches the event horizon of a large Mantonian?

Thanks - I found it pretty useful as a seller, to find the best time to list a thread when the most people were on. I hope it makes its way back in.
