Generally, with EG pants, XS S M L XL correspond to 30 32 34 36 38. I own many pairs of EG pants, in various styles including both Workaday and mainline, and this rule seems to hold up pretty well, with some small variation between seasons and some styles (for example, I find the Charles pants to run a little smaller, and Balloon pants a little larger). I'm a pretty true 35inch waist, and fit into M/34 and L/36 with the L/36 being slightly big.

FW15 Felt Hat & SS17 Lab Shirt. I cannot not wear these two together.

Looking good, guys...

But what are these magical pants?

I just rechecked the Oi Poloi site, and indeed they list Large in the EG Workaday fatigue as having a 17" wide waist. Am I missing something here? If you measure the waist across and not around does 17" translate to 36"? Also, the Workaday pants with the waist cinched is only slightly too big, and I am definitely a 33. I'm wondering if I should attempt to return the workaday since oi poloi seems to take returns on sale items. I know that they don't have the Medium, though. Oh well, I sure appreciate all the feedback. I wish I could try on varying sizes but have to buy by mail and have tried to take advantage of the sales.

Those of you who own andovers, bakers, bedfords, etc, do you usually buy the match fabric pants? Anyone have good fits of mixing the jackets and different pants?

I'm thinking of picking up more but a bit hard for me to imagine as I don't usually wear these types of jackets

edit: oh, yea, i've been going through the thread, but just wondering if any of y'all have any standout fits that pop in your mind
