Show off your watch thread

I've been trying to find a couple of watches that I really like. I even made a list that I checked daily, eventually crossing out a number of choices that I decided I didn't want. Currently I own an Orient 60th anniversary watch in silver, a steinhart SAWLE, and a Steinhart Ocean DLC.

The orient is a beautiful piece. Domed crystal, "sunburst" dial, power reserve indicator, and a hacking second hand. I also like that it is a handwound movement, and the fact that it is a limited release is a bonus. I decided that this watch is going to be a keeper. Some shots of the domed crystal.

I decided to sell the Ocean DLC because I realized I didn't want two black watches, and I definitely want to keep the SAWLE. I have a rubber strap with a PVD butterfly clasp coming from steinhart that will look great on it. I've been trying to find one more watch to round out my collection. At first I was going to get either a sinn 556 or 656, but then decided that I didn't want another "airplane instrumentation" styled watch. So right now, I've basically narrowed it down to either a MKII seafighter in the bead blasted finish or a MKII Circle Y milsub.

Decisions, decisions...

Got this last week, Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Ultra Thin Been wanting a dress watch for awhile, and my wrists are too skinny to make a lot of the big watches work, so I decided I needed to look for something smaller. Latched onto the idea of a JLC Reverso a few weeks ago and kept looking for one, and then I remembered rach's sale thread with this same watch and though it'd be a nice choice but then found it sold, and then I turned up this one. It's nice as a dress watch, handwind, extremely thin, supremely elegant, and as simple as it can be - not even a seconds hand. I plan on keeping it forever. I have this and the Sinn 356 now, my next watch is gonna be something that makes more of a statement, size/design wise.

I am starting to really love handwound movements. Something nice about having to wind your watch every morning.
