Barbour x Rockport. Just grabbed a pair of Katahdins so I don't "need" these, and I can't seem to find where they're manufactured, but I love, love, love the look.

dunno how well that will do in snow, are the seams waterproof? I just got some sorel pac boots for the upcoming ND winter.

with a little sno seal they should be fine (although tbh I find the random buckle somewhat questionable). I mean, if someone is planning on trekking through the open wilderness that's one thing, but I really don't get the suburban attitude of needing hardcore survival gear for the walk from the parking lot to the office....

Well around here it is pretty easy to get a solid foot of snow in a lunch break if the weather decides it, all with a windchill of -60

. Not saying you need heavy duty gear for general winter use, but I wouldn't go in expecting much weather protection from those.
