Really? If you shop at express and think express is edgy you need to need to lurk a lot more. Maybe a couple years?
Really? I guess we have different opinions on what edgy is then. A store like express (which I consider relatively edgy) carries boat shoes. Not sperrys, but a sneaker/boat shoe hybrid. It also depends on what you wear it with. If you wear the shoes above with a pair of cargos and a polo, clearly won't look edgy. Wear them with some dark jeans, a nice shirt, and maybe a nice bomber jacket.. completely different look.

Again, we have different opinions on what edgy is. Style is subjective. Out of curious, what is express generally considered as far as style?

Why did you post in a 'should I or shouldn't I' thread if style is subjective and you don't want to hear anyone's opinion?

express = shite, here in the forum we accept many different style gods, but none of them include shite.

I want to get some basic black and white tees with bound necklines. I found these ones from OAK NYC, but I haven't heard of this company before and don't know if they're quality or not. Anyone got any alternatives? (I know everyone makes a black tee, but I want one with this type of neckline and slim fit)

Collection of Style (COS) has a lot of tees with a wider neckline. They fit rather slim, but also have narrow shoulders and very little taper. You won't get the fit you want if you are particularly built.
Have a look at these:

So I guess I'm on the wrong forum. My wardrobe consists of some All Saint, John Varvatos, Diesel, Express, and H&M (none of which I claim to be the very best money can buy). I may not know what edgy truly means, but to me, I thought I dressed relatively edgy. I guess I didn't have a better word for a style that wasnt lacoste polos and khaki shorts, or a hollister tshirt with some jeans, or a decked out outfit from hot topic. I thought the clothing I bought was relatively edgy. Again, perhaps I'm confused on what edgy means, so if instead of spewing out condescending talk, you can enlighten me on what my style would be considered so that maybe I can learn something, it would be very appreciated.

Would not wear those ever. Look at the WAYWT thread, find some fits that you think are interesting and look into what they are.

How much does it have to be spelled out for you? The clothing you're buying is nothing special and is certainly not "edgy." What strikes you as edgy about dark jeans and boat shoes?

This is edgy.

This isn't.

It's fine if that's what you want to wear, but you're the one with the condescending attitude here. The shoes you posted are ******* atrocious though.

The guys above me have said it all, observe more, see what you like, ask what things are and you'll learn a thing or two. Varvatos and diesel are bland uninteresting unoriginal and eurotrashy. Plus varvatos put his ****** flagship store on hallowed ground, which is why I refuse to give money to that bastard. Not to mention its just monochomatic version of diesel.

Why the **** are you still talking about the shoes? Do you have a personal quarrel with boat shoes that you just won't let them go? I made ONE post about the shoes.. one. And you're still going on about them. I just posted where I buy clothes, and you still manage to bring the shoes up. I LET THE SHOES GO. You should do the same. Sue me for not knowing what edgy was to you supreme elitists. Again, I think I'm on the wrong forum. Whatever the style I have is called, I like, and get compliments on, edgy or not. You boys keep rocking your toms, chinos, or whatever other fruity **** you boys wear, and I'll keep wearing my ******, non edgy, bland, uninteresting, unoriginal, eurotrashy clothing. :)
