This would go well with an original Antonio Rella choir 78 played on a talking machine or vintage EMT, Garrard, Fairchild turntable.

^The sole looks very mismatched with the upper.

I think all CPs with that sole look mismatched especially the burgundies. I've given up on CPs entirely because the number gimmick, but I might change my mind if they come out with a burgundy derby no-shine.

I didn't even think they'd released them for a few years, and now that they're back they've dumped the side zipper and added a pull loop.

There was a nubuck (I think) pair this season that I thought looked pretty good, but still not a fan of the changes they've made.

I am looking for slim fit light blue stone wash jeans. Any recommendations?

    Does this pair look good?

Have these. Mix between sneakers and boots. Probably my favorite in rotation right now.

    ^^ I wouldn't.

Appreciate the feedback on the CPs. Thanks guys.

Sole being a different color isn't great, but like notwithit was saying they got rid of some nice details from previous years. The bastards.

Yeah, I have a pair like the ones in the link but with a black sole, and one with the same sole but a brown/grey/taupe/whatever upper.

    More flannel:

fit on these is frumpy, though wash seems to be what you're looking for

rrl does some nice heavily washed stuff as well if you've got the coin. if not, scout out ebay...seems to be more of the distressed/heavily washed stuff there, so might work to your favor

Definitely the Alden flex sole seems to be what you probably want.

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually don't mind the frumpy fit (I have larger thighs). And they are on sale 50% off. Only thing I have concerns about is the size, I normally wear size 32 but only size 31 is available. Anyone familiar with how Edwin fits? Seems like this brand isn't really popular with this forum.
