1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

When I said 250 was steep, I meant in context of my current financial situation with no implications about Ervell's quality/value. From what I've seen they look quite nice, I'll know first hand shortly. My knitwear is practically non-existent, so I just went with blue to kick it off.

I might have sized wrong though so it won't even matter in the end. How do these run?

One can never have too many Tough-Guy jackets!

Ha but seriously I really don't have many jackets at all, and I like 1 black one (my ToJ leather)

Really? Out of the ones I have now or have had in the past the cotton ones actually feel more fragile. Also, while I didn't handle last winters pocket sweater the alpaca Norwegian sweater from that season was definitely more hearty/durable than the fair isle from F/W '10 (though maybe a hair less soft). The cotton is underrated though, and makes it to sales much more often than the alpaca stuff.

Edit- I think the pocket sweaters are just more fragile than the rest b/c of the seed stitch construction

I would prefer side-zips instead of stretchy-material, but you won't see it anyway and the price is a steal

    nice qualitywise?

This looks like the same last, same suede, same stitching, same construction as my PS York boots. Only difference being that it's a chelsea rather than a zip. I'd bet it's the same factory.

Pretty good every day boot if you ask me.

Probably because he doesn't like them?

No need to seek validation from everyone.

oh that's not what I meant, was only wondering if I had missed something except that he may not have liked them (overthinking is in my nature [IMG])

Just wait for the right pair of side zips. Don't rush the purchase because you suddenly got an impulse for boots.

+1, don't jump on the first thing you see when you're looking for a particular style, you'll only end up flipping it in a few months when the real thing pops up, and waste money in the process
