I have a pair of Alden tanker boots in shell no. 8. They've been worn 15 times or so. One of them is wearing oddly and I wanted to ask advice.

Note the difference in wear and creasing. One boot is perfect, the other is creasing all over. I'm worried one will continue to wear so unevenly and that they'll look like two different pairs of boots.

I brush them after every wear and have not used anything on them yet.

The right boot shows none of the same creases or wear as the left. Thoughts?

Shell creases as it does. You can't expect a pair to crease the same way.

In any case, I don't see much wrong the ways your boots are creasing.

Plus, the difference in creasing- as it is- is as likely to be the way your feet are differently shaped, so here's no guarantee the same thing won't happen if you buy a different pair.

Enjoy your boots, IMO they look great. And take care of them.
