I just checked the brogueing on my Vass and have to admit: it is far away from being perfect - whatever that means...

I find "jumping" brogueing and sloppy sole edges complementary to the crooked heel pads nailed down by a blind child with his "pet-rock".
These are charming shoes in a "Ma-a-a look at the poo-poo I made", sorta way.

I have a question, hope someone may honestly tell me.
Is the "lasted tree" copied from the original last, or they are made by the treemaker after the shoe was made. I just can't understand those "rumples" on the vamp.

I've already tried asking this question and got nowhere!

I think Operation Paprika shoes are really charming and I respect the way they're made but as soon as you say anything negative - all of the toys go flying out of the pram.

I would rename it something other than Operation Kielbasa, this being styleforum and all, some of the members might expect you to deliver something else.

I think that a subtle name for it would be Operation Lightbulb.

Presumably, it would take more than one person.

I don't recognize the counter...where am that?

You should try Bergamot...it's in the old EVOO space across from Dali.

Much better than EVOO, which I couldn't stand.
