Yesterday - Guerlain Heritage (good for when it's deadly cold)

Today - Penhaligon's Racquets (good all year round).

I really like the scent of Old Spice Body Spray. This is what my husband is using, and i just want to get close to him most of the time.

Yes, it is interesting how we'll do that. I did the same thing... after using tons of things, I found myself going back to my original "favorite" scent... Chanel Pour Monsieur.

Today - a new scent: Lush Karma.

Karma (the scent) is a blend of Patchouli, Orange, Lavender, Pine, Fir. I like it, in the conceptual sense, but wearing it is another matter altogether. It is not very well-composed, and each individual note is dialed up to 11 - with nothing in the background (so far as I can tell) to lend it some...respite.

Put it this way - you know how you wear Jicky or Kouros or Pour Monsieur, and you experience a placid sea of scent, with individual notes bobbing to the surface? Karma is - PINE!...ORANGE!...LAVENDEEER!!!...PATCH!!! through a bullhorn.

Now, I bought an older bottle and understand that it's been reformulated. I would expect the reform to be better, but I'm not about to test it at full retail.

Now that the top has faded, it's settling down a bit and I'll keep sniffing to see what develops.

Today: Tom Ford Amber Absolute. It just might be worth the exorbitant price, if you buy the large bottle and split it.
