Interesting. Perhaps it was made for Ringo Starr, but looking at the measurements it's hard to imagine it fitting Ringo Starr.

Yeah. The associations between the suit and Ringo are a little too weak to ask $10K.

It's definitely not from 1963!

Check out this previous discussion

It seems that Ben's "proof" that this is a genuine 1963 Ringo Starr Tux is that he has an appraisal from the "Antique Roadshow Guy!".

I think that the Ebay Tux ad draws a lot of visitors and that is the ads value.

Of course if someone is foolish enough to pay $10,000 for it, the seller will happily accept.

So if I write "John Lennon" on one of my jacket's tags it'll be worth $15,000 ?

If Ringo is worth 10K then Lennon must be worth at least 50K.

I'm too lazy to search, but haven't we done this before? Or was that some other piece of Ringo-wear?

Either way it is a very nice looking tuxedo. A very stylish seperation from your standard black. If i was shopping for a second tuxedo and saw this on the racks at neimans it would be a must buy. (for 2995 and not 10K of course)
