While I sympathize with you I can't help but be reminded of the episode of HIMYM where Barney tears one of his suits in a bathroom stall. As a condolence, since I can't find that clip, I offer you this:

Update- I went back to the can and noticed that the reason it ripped was because the hanger on the stall door was broken so all jagged and sh*t.

Wow, that must have taken days to film. That was really good.

the cloth looks to be a clear finished worsted, those smooth finishes are not the best for reweaving.
the damage is not a clean tear but very ragged, making it worse.

a reminder- always ask your tailor for the cut off cloth when having the bottoms finished.

Invisible reweaving worked for me. I totally ripped a quarter sized hole in my pants of my Chan suit, some people on this forum suggested looking for invisible reweaving. Basically, I was so drunk that somehow I managed to make a hole (imagine running sandpaper against your suit a thousand times). The weaver managed to do a pretty good job in salvaging the pants. I even showed Patrick of WW Chan when I went to see him this month and he commented that it was a pretty good job and that it wasn't too noticeable, so I manged to save my suit. I'd say I paid about $60?

Without a Trace in Chicago is the best in the business.

Amazing work. Very expensive and takes a few weeks but amazing!

Sorry about the suit
