Recommend casual button-up shirts

I need some decent casual button-up shirts suitable for wearing untucked without looking all AmJack. I'd be wearing them either with casual sportcoats and jeans, or over band or graphic t-shirts with jeans, or with cords/trousers. (I know the "button-up over band shirt" is pretty played, but I still like it.) I'm a fan of vintage cufflinks, so french cuffs are fine.

I usually wear my jeans pretty low, so I leave shirts untucked when I wear jeans - thus, square hems are a definite plus.

I'd like to be able to order the shirts "as is" from an online vendor - I don't really want to be arsed with jumping through hoops or waiting at least 100 years to order from Jantzen, etc.

So, basically looking for reasonably priced slim-fitting button-ups for when I need to dress up a Motorhead t-shirt. I need both short sleeves and long sleeves. (Not on the same shirt.)

Thanks!

i was actually thinking about starting a thread like this, but for white casual shirts. something in the EG style perhaps, if possible. very casual, but clean.

I find that with the right length shirt -- with shirttails, not square cut, and a slim enough cut -- that rolling up the sleeves to the elbow or so takes away whatever level of AmJackness might remain. (Similarly, rolled-up long-sleeves are my short sleeves.

Yeah. One of my favorite outfits is jeans, a rolled up white OCBD (untucked), and a sweater vest.
