The Barbour jacket I bought a while back (and mentioned) arrived and, suicide-inducingly, is too small. If any Brits are interested in a wonderful winter coat, then have a bid or drop me a line. Hell, if any of our trans-atlantic cousins fancy a lofty go, then contact me and I'll see if something can be arranged. HERE IT IS

Did you go with your usual size, or did you size down?

I'm 6'1.5 and 170lbs. Usually get S in shirts and sweaters, and they fit fine in terms of length and chest. I assumed an S in this coat would fit but it's simply too small in all respects. I like a snug fit but I look like I had a growth spurt and don't fit my hand-me-downs anymore. Apparently it's a 34-36" chest, whereas I wear a 38 in sport coats. Unfortunate. Medium would be better for me.

Yeh, 6.1 and 170 sounds like a medium to me. I'm 6.1 and 190 and I'm somewhere between M and L (usually opt for Large).
