Ray-Ban Wayfarer Black or White

Hey there

i am thinking about buying these wayfarers --> http://www.ray-ban.com/usa/products/rb2140/1028
and currently i am not shure whether i should get them in black or in white.

i like the white ones cause they are so eye-catching but the black ones are classics

any ideas or tips??

Don't buy them.

a) they rarely look good on anyone
b) every douche wears them.

Black. White ones scream "trend whore." You won't want to wear them in a year. At least you'll be able to get by with the blacks.

Forget the white ... go with black or even tortoise shell ... depending upon which works better with your complexion. But make sure the shape works for your face. Go to a good supplier ... and ask their opinion if you are unsure.

As for what's trendy and what's not ... pay no attention. These are a classic for a good reason.

I have a pair and I like them. They are my favorites. If they are for douchebags then america is full of douchebags because they have been a slice of americana since the 1970's.

First off buy the ones you feel comfortable with.

That being said...remember that white won't go with as many other articles of clothing and less versatile. Black gives you the option of dressing them up...while white just loses that edge.

Also remember to make sure you know which frames fit your face...i have the 54's but there are different lense sizes that can fit smaller/bigger faces

I like tortoise shell and black, but opted for black because they had green lenses rather then brown.

Another option would be the Ultra Wayfarers, which have touch of white gold and better lenses.
