Got to handle some Inis Meain today, really nice stuff. Unfortunately the store only stocked medium and up, so I couldn't try any on. If anyone is looking for traditional knitwear it seems like a good alternative to inverallan.

The store also had the full range of Frederic Malle, which was cool.

^lol @ hendrix

but in all seriousness, what more could you want to know about them? They are... shoes. Black shoes, black shoes made of leather and in italy by a company that has zero web presence so was probably a small shop that closed down/changed it's name a while back...

you're a sz 44?
the tag says artisinal workmanship, if my italian is correct :p
my grandfather also has a bunch of shoes made in italy from his heyday. they are most likely made by one person and by hand

I'd say these fit a little small, I'm closer to 43 than 44.
Thanks, fun to know

number of thumbs has much more to do with quality of photography and picture setting than clothes/brands

I offer you my fit pic history as gentle rebuttal... :embar:

Also, in the spirit of the holidays, can I give a special shout-out to Marc at Isaora? He has been particularly nice and helpful and informative and didn't even blink when my iPhone continued to auto-correct his name in e-mails. Thank you Marc at Isaora! :slayer:

Got my ultra light down today (thanks Zissou!). It's revelatory. And not as ugly as I would expect.
Heattech leggings are decidedly less impressive.

on their own or even as a layer?

Bullshit, heattech longjohns are the best. The waffle ones are very comfortable.
