Can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree with whatever. You missed the sale and they offered it to you at a discounted price anyway. It wasn't the sale price, but it was still discounted. They didn't owe you anything, and if you're "insulted" by that then you need to get over your inflated sense of pride.

no, im 31 and im not bitter. i really dont know why you guys are so upset.

here is what happend. fycus posted he was upset ... even "insulted" that inventory didnt extend him the sale discount AFTER the sale was over. let me repeat that, FYCUS WAD UPSET THAT A RETAILER DID NOT EXTEND HIM THE SALE PRICE AFTER THE SALE HAD ENDED. in a token of inventory's (the retailers) appreciation, they did offer him a discount but because it wasn't the sale price he felt "insulted. are you ******* kidding me? because inventory doesnt treat fycus like a queen and he is butt hurt he makes a marsupial post. i call him out on his bull **** and you people get upset at me?

what many of you dont understand is i very much appreciate this retailer and know how hard it is to succeed. to have some douche (fycus) make a post that he is insulted because he didnt get the sale price is so unfair and fycus should apologize for having a marsupialed moment.

many of you are so fixated on price and believe you are special that rules are for everyone else to follow. whats funny is those you that actually support small retailers on a regular basis know they do reward you. just over the weekend my salesman at the bh ysl store called me and said ... hey, i have some shirts and pants in your size that i think you might like and they are going on sale tomorrow and i wanted to see if you wanted them before they are sold. **** yes i do! thats service.

so, when fycus made his bull **** post it did upset me because inventory did nothing wrong. in fact, they did extend him a discount but it wasent good enough. he missed the sale timeline. they owe him NOTHING! fycus is willing to give inventory a negative post over something like $70. its truly shocking.

I'm going to ignore all this and post my random fashion thought. This is from Dries F/W 2010, which I keep looking at. I like everything about this. It's really simple but looks so good.

I'm glad that shirting seems to have gotten a little more interesting lately, especially from those "safer" brands. Really dig the way ridiculous patterns/prints have come up, especially the native american motif that seems to be extra strong this year. Rad.

I miss sales all the time, I pay full price all the time, I don't understand how you guys can think I'm a dick. The move inventory pulled is align with craigslist buyers who hand you $10 less than your asking price in person, **** is marsupialed. I would've been fine if they told me the sale was over, the fact that they came out with some random figure, as if they were doing me a favor, was ridiculous. Again, I may have misinterpreted their generosity but when somebody says "we'll take care of you" and asks for my size in the stock, assumptions must lie in the fact that I am receiving a discount. So I didn't receive it, and I didn't buy, end of story! This is random fashion thoughts, I see people rant here all the time. ......you did receive a discount. just not the one you wanted. there was no artificial number, only a now-nonexistent number once the sale ended. on what grounds do you consider the new number arbitrary?

Why anyone who isn't new here continues to go back and forth with whatever is beyond me. His posts generally break down into three categories:

- New purchase
- Boasts about special connection to numerous small retailers
- Drivel chastising people who express interest in not paying retail for an item

I'm kind of with him at times on that last one, especially during this past sale season when people were trying to find non-existent codes to stack with heavily discounted merchandise. Problem with his approach is that he draws it out and, at times, seems to use those situations to shoehorn in how he almost always pays retail.
