Not mine, but I dig these C&J snuff and shell cordovan saddles (7.5E UK). I already have a similar Alden pair, otherwise would cop. Hopefully a SF member snags them: Ebay
Ugliest C&J custom shoe ever. What were they thinking?

But they are on the cool 325 last!
The catalogue colours can be very tricky, even leather swatches .. They do not always turn out as expected ..
Are they yours Nic?
Hey - I'm a new member who's been lurking for a while. Have been looking for a pair of Chelsea boots and trying to pick between the RMs and the C&J Chelsea 3. I tried the latter recently and found these odd creases near the instep (see picture). The boot felt great on length and width so not sure if making something out of nothing but any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.
That's perfectly normal in my opinion. My Tetburys have a similar fold (I say fold as it's more so that than a crease), particularly with the soft leather that CJs use, and personally I think it looks great. Secondly, your boots will crease more, obviously, as you wear them, regardless of maker. Just minimise it with shoe trees. You will never maintain that new look with a pair of boots.
So many Australians that wear RMs don't seem to care for them (RM stores don't even sell or suggest trees) so a lot of RMs I see look terrible. I'd like to see how a well maintained pair holds up, but am also considering a pair myself.
