EXACTLY. walk down ludlow on any given night. what an incredible coincidence to find so many likeminded tapered jean wearing non-conformists. but re: the OP I do think the preppy aesthetic is (or has) made a comeback. look at BOOxSperry

I think this section of styleforum, including this thread, could benefit from the more aggressive posts on sufu.

Speaking of hipster preppy stuff. I've been looking for some slim almost skinny khakis in either khaki or a nice olive color forever. Need to keep on the hipster curve. Can anyone help me out? By slim khakis i don't mean jcrew slim fit either as i'm not a slightly overweight middle aged man. I'm not kidding either. Must kop.

I found a few pairs of masons online for a big sale, but i have no idea what model it is and if it's the slim one. Is there any webstore or something that has fit pics or measurements? Also, i can't find anything on machay. I saw that you posted a pair of machays awhile back but the pic doesn't work. Kitonbrioni is the only person that shows up on a search for mason's in the waywt thread

Oh and Vans.

Ah, but OMG the fit makes everything different; unique like a snowflake!!!

But to give SF credit, we do have a lot more variety than say . . . SuFu.

Any West Marine store carries them for less than $40. Bought mine there for $34, iirc.
