levis used to have an "employee purchase plan" where we could order most levis including LVC and cap e for wholesale price. If you call 1800 USA LEVI, u might be able to track down a pair.. I've personally never seen these at any levis. Supposedly Levis are rolling out an "orange tab" selection this fall/winter which will include these 606's.

amazing rivets and buttons ok. review time. I've been meaning to get a pair of Ande Whall's for a long time now, basically since he posted his "how to make a pair of jeans thread" but I've either had too much denim on my plate or have missed out on various pre-orders and what not. That was easily my first mistake, pictures do not do ande's proper. The fit is better than any samurai's I've had, and exactly what I was looking for at the moment..ie. slim but not uber tight, tapered leg, etc. I am fortunate, Ande hooked a brother up with some Cone Denim White Oak sample denim he got from them, and this being the 2nd pair of Cone Denim I have, I really really know why that company has been in business so long. The denim is very dark, long staple yarn as Ande reports, 15oz White Oak Cone Mills, and very nice. The custom hardware is fantastic! I love how the rivets don't stick out, as more than once have I caught a rivet in a doorway. Ande was kind enough to remember about the selvedge fly I asked about on the last limited run a while back and included it on my Grifters. I asked for the toughest pocket bags as I'm really tired of having change fall out of my samurai's by now, and I think he gave me canvas pocketbags, which feel tough as nails. The 3mm thick natural leather patch is ****ing awesome. Lee style where you can slide your belt underneath as well. Honestly, there isn't one thing I am disappointed about with these. I haven't been excited about a pair of jeans in a while, and I actually am excited about these. For me, they fit similar to the PRPS' new fit, but more tapered through the knee and down to the hem, which is exactly what I wanted. I was about to go down a size, but am really glad I didn't as these fit perfect. I'm actually privledged to own a pair of AW's. I think it's pretty incredible to know exactly where your denim came from and where your jeans were constructed, which is pretty rare these days. Thanks ANDE!!! will update in a few months

Hell yes, hi-5. Ande and Grifters rule. Perfect fit. I'm putting my old streakies through hell. When/if they disintegrate, I'm really looking forward to a new pair with sweet, sweet Cone Mills selvedge. Perfect denim, perfect fit.. Ande's the man.
