You can use the opportunity to buy a watch that's not a cheap ripoff of a real watch!
Just to be obnoxious and bump this thread here's a pic of my new Seiko.
Quote: That actually looks like RGP (rolled gold plate). You should be able to pop the back cover off carefully (nothing metal) and see the stamp on the back. That one is a Swiss model, make sure that you take it to your watchmaker often to get oiled and cleaned, that era Bulova movement seems to get fouled often.
Ive also got a Daniel wellington. However they do not have quartz movement, it even says at the product page and is mentioned earlier in this thread
Japanese citizen 1L22 movement is whats in the watch and the movement will set you back a whopping 9 bucks
erhhm... the 1l22 IS a quartz movement. at least according to your link it is.
Lol. It says Quartz right there. I can assure you it's quartz I'm wearing mine right now.
Seiko 5 is only $55 ? Thoughts?
Where did you get this?I want one!
By the way, Grenens are currently on sale at Kohls:
On a black nato w/ black hardware:
Another model currently on sale:
I still can't understand why Grenen even exists, especially now that I know they're actually owned by Skagen and not just trying to to the exact same thing as Skagen.
A bit of info for you.
'Grenen' is the tongue of land just north of the town 'Skagen'. And also the northernmost point of Denmark.
As for the business strategies of the whatch company, I've got no idea.
Grenen IMO appears to be a diffusion/youthful line of Skagen
