Hi you guys doing? I'm Jay and this is my first post.

When I wear Leather dress shoes with dress socks, blisters start to form on the side of both of my pinky toes within a couple of weeks.

What's the best way to prevent callus?

I thought about sizing up and wearing regular sweet socks, but I think that might look kinda tacky. Maybe getting a some wing tip boots that look oxfords?

Anyone have this issue?

Blisters form when your foot moves within the shoe. What shoe? Sometimes the shape of the shoe (last) just doesn't fit a given foot well. And the best option is to use a different shoe. Some times, the leather used can be a bit stiff until the shoe is broken in. Sizing up and wearing thicker socks isn't always a good solution because you can end up with even more movement than you have now.

It's a pair of cap toe dress shoes that I bought while in Australia, but I had the same problem with square toe dress shoes when square toe were in some time back. Yeah they were low and shoes and so are these but I've never had this problem with any other shoe sock combo. I have leather cowboy boots that I've had for years and I have a pair of Chukka Boots all without a problem

It sounds as if you simply need better fitting dress shoes since you are not experiencing discomfort with your cowboy and chukka boots. I hope when you were buying the dress shoes you weren't conned by the sales line: "Oh, they just need breaking in." Whenever I buy a new pair of shoes, I always want to feel I could walk right out of the store in them and continue for a few miles.

When the sales person says "they will stretch" they won't. Decent shoes inner soles will mold more to the shape of your feel and the sole will bend easier over time but if there is rubbing causing a blister you don't have the right shape shoe for your foot.

Correct, but the boots are worn with your typical sweat sock in lieu of the thinner dress socks.

1) look at it...narrow or wide heel? Narrow or wide across the width of your foot.

Go to a quality shoe store and look at shoes that look like the shape of your foot. Try a medium width and a wide width in the same shoe.

Its going to take some trial and error and each shoe brand is different.

Good luck!
