Hey guys,

I recently purchased some pants from Banana Republic and Bonobos and need some advice on which looks better or if I should go with a different fit. I purchased the Aiden Slim fit 33x34, Mason Tapered fit 33x34 and Bonobos Slim 32x34. I have a 34 inch waist but they were too big and baggy so I sized down.
These are the Aidens:
1326352
1326343
1326344

And these are the Mason Tapered:
1326346
1326347
1326348
And Bonobos Slim:
1326408
1326409
1326410

What do you think? Thoughts appreciated!

The second picture looks extremely loose in the seat. Same with last photo.

Not a fan of the fit overall. In this price range you might try J-Crew. I think their chinos are a little less...uh...dumpy looking perhaps.

Thanks. Haven’t tried J Crew. I purchased the Bonobos in Slim 32x34 but feel like they wrinkle more. What do you think? Do you like these better or same issue?

So, here's my take - the trouble with tapered & slim fit is - if it's too long it bunches up - all the way up the legs - as both of these do. It looks sloppy.. When standing strait on, you shouldn't see all those creases. As for loose in the seat - that's a tough one without custom alterations. It's difficult to find anything off the rack that is designed with a tight seat - because they wouldn't fit so many people.

J Crew and Banana Republic do not event sell straight fit in their stores anymore. They have skinny, tapered, slim or athletic. All had tapered legs below the knee. So, I’ll try 32” inseam and see if they do not bunch up as much. Any other brands that you all recommend trying that might fit me better?

Do you think these fit better? They are Bonobos 33x32 Slim. Response appreciated!

yes, but it's also the type of shoe you're wearing as well. I wouldn't wear chukkas or any type of boot. But, the length on these is much better
