You may have to do a WAYWT search back to April-June of 2006 to see how dark these jeans originally were. They had a little thigh sanding and the streaks around the hem but that's about it.

As for the weather it's nuts, Englishmen aren't conditioned for **** like this, it was 95 in Silverlake around 9.30 last night and in Downtown right now it's plain evil. Good job the shirt I'm wearing is full of holes.

warlok - I'm really liking those AEs with those pants. I'm not as crazy about the shirt, but I think it's just my personal aesthetic. Nice job overall though!

Back after a long absence. (My girl had our digicam). Anyways, Aquascutum, Jantzen and Loake today - had to take headshots for a website and then meet a client (with the same name as me!). Perturbed looks because it kept raining on me camera.

You look like the guitar player in a british rock band. I don't know why, but there it is.

For me at least, it appears to make the person shorter and a bit messy. I always get them hemmed...or and I'm simply missing the personal fashion perspective of it all??!

Personally, I like having at least one pair of jeans that I can cuff. There are certain fits where it fits the aesthetic more than others. Right now I've got a pair on perma-cuff as kind of a tribute and experiment. The denim's thirty-six years old and as such I figured it deserved a "throw-back" look.

You just buy what I tell you to buy. And I'm sure the jeans were an idea you picked up after watching reruns of "Will & Grace," right?

Honestly, I think they look a bit messy. The larger cuff works better when either the hem is narrow or you've folded them just a shade before your usual break so that there is no fabric draping down from the knee.

I really like the pattern on this Borrelli. Did you have to tailor the shirt much?

Looking pretty pro there, Augusto.

Crappy pics from lunch today at a Spanish restaurant but I figured they were worth the laugh:

I cuff all my indigo selvage jeans atleast an inch to justify paying an extra $30 for selvage. I also like the fact that it breaks up the stacks and adds contrast between the end of the jean/your footwear.
