For YMC, try blackbird in seattle.

Anyway, does anyone know where to get cheap argyle socks in a variety of colors?

They're in some barneys co-ops. Gargyle used to carry all 3. Eluxury has some opening ceremony. I tried on some YMCs at Stel's a year ago. I've seen them elsewhere but can't think at the moment. You also can occasionally find NDC shoes on ebay, supermarket, or b&s here for under $200. wmmk- C'mon man. We help those who help themselves. They're in every gap, old navy, express, urban outfitters, jcrew, etc.... I see them every time i step in a mall store.

^Fair enough. I should've been more specific. I'd like to find some in colorways similar to those in this Junya Wantabe show. Most of the argyle socks at Gap/Old Navy/Whatnot come in kind of garish colors. I figured there might be some place to find nicely colored socks without paying for Junya ****.

I have a couple questions:

What is a good pair of loafers or more upscale (IE not vans) slip on shoes that go well with jeans? I own a pair of loafers that I find to be too slim for my liking.

Additionally, I'm looking for an affordable nylon bomber jacket that can withstand the frozen tundra of upstate New York.

Anyone know where to find a wide selection of Nudie Flare Glenns? I'm looking for the dry organic, but they don't have them in my size on the Nudie website.

Does anyone know if they restock that website often?

Where can I buy something similar to that? They're out of my size.

I wear dark (raw) denim with black, grey, navy blue, white tops. I want to purchase a pair of go-to shoes, and I think the Clark's Desert Boot Premium will fit the bill.

Could you all suggest the better color to fit my outfits-- black or dark brown?

Thanks!

dark brown

Black usually looks bad with blue.

I love my Nudies that I bought a few years back. The only thing is that they split in the crotch. What I paid for them I can't help but think that this shouldn't be happening. Their website claims that dry, dark, unwashed denim is a very durable product. Anyone else experience this crotch splitting or deterioration anywhere else on your Nudies? How have you alleviated it?

I purchased a suit with 40" flat front pants (Armani Collezioni) and I was wondering how to have them altered to a 37" waist.
Should I have them do it all in the middle bringing the pockets close together, or ought I have some done on the sides.
Also, can I have the legs narrowed, have the pants taken in on the legs and do you recommend this type of alteration?
