As notwithit pointed out, these are sales I'm 'advertising', and not just new arrivals to the store. Again, sorry if I'm in the wrong here, and please advise me on this further.

just my two cents:
i think since the layer-0 stuff is actually on sale you are doing nothing wrong. other shops (eg. neighbour; no hate, i am a fan of the shop) do it sometimes too.

now, if you put it in the "Official Ebay/Someone Should Kop Thread" that would be a faux pas.

I think Fok/J have some rules about advertising on the forum (basically, they want you to be an affiliate) but I don't know if that applies to posting sales

Essentially, if you are a non-affiliated webstore, you can post a *general* sale, but you cannot answer questions about the sale in the thread, advertise specific products, nor be constantly updating unless there is a substantive change in the sale, like "All our stuff is now an additional 20% off". We are not telling non-affiliated vendors that they cannot post a sale, but we cannot allow the sales threads to be defacto affiliate threads either.
