I returned 2 pairs a while back and the cheapest shipping option was close to $50...

Yes, it was over $25. If memory serves it was more around the $30-$40 range. Granted, though, this was a couple years ago when I was a total noob when it came to shipping, especially international.

And lol, being it was originally shipped via FedEx, I brought it back to FedEx to do the return. That was until they quoted me over $100 for shipping the big shoe box + shipping box back to Sweden with tracking. What a disaster those McNairy bucks were!!

Shipping costs can get up in price indeed. I would be returning just two shirts so maybe it would be cheaper. Yeah, fedex or ups will charge you a ton. maybe that will sway the shipping cost.....

If it is a store credit, then can I buy it two times and use on the same purchase (on Aldens for example)? There is nothing about credit purchase restrictions in the rules. It would also be nice to be able to apply the store credit against an account in general, not during the particular purchase at checkout, eg. as can be done on Amazon.

Most of these daily deals things won't let you do this. I presume Context is the same. It seems like its store credit but it doesn't work exactly like store credit ... if that makes sense.

I returned to tres bien with USPS first class. Took a bit of a gamble but didn't want to pay 1/3 the purchase price just in return shipping. It got there, and I was refunded so all is well (took about a month from shipping back to being credited).
