You can still buy it if you shoot them an email/call, but you won't be getting the 25% discount. I was waiting on the sale to buy something but they ripped it down. I was ready to pay way more like 2 months ago, so I didn't need the extra 25% anyways.

In all seriousness, nice purchase. I was on the fence about them for a while, only because I was looking for a cordovan other than colour 8 at the moment (already have colour 8 boots in the NST tanker style). But well may have done the deed if they were still around today!

For the experts, is there a difference between cordovan and shell cordovan. Cordovan may just be standard horse leather, whilst the shell comes from the booty.

If it's used for calfskin, "cordovan" is usually used to describe the color.
"Black cordovan" to describe a non-shell-cordovan leather is just... odd.

I have shoes made from horse that definitely aren't cordovan. Guidi makes a whole line in horse leather. I think it's usually a lot thicker.

Never heard anyone describe non-shell horse leather as cordovan. Always been confused by Billy Reid's "cordovan"
