plokhov show was o.k. The hats actually were the best part so i don't see the hate on them. only other memorable things in it was the gray skirt look and...well that may be it. Tommy was a great show for menswear but I wasn't feeling the womenswear as much as last season.

Ervell is going to be hot **** when it hits shelves, lets be real here. Fashion week is always follows the order of:
1) eh the ****?
2) gosh such a bore
3) I can see me using a few
4) where to find *insert piece*!!!

Oh I'm sure some Ervell pieces will be nice in person but the collection is a mess and felt particularily uninspired and incohesive. Actually S/s 2011 sucked too.

I like zippers but that Plokhov leaves me totally cold.

And Geller still reminds me of Lanvin.

Bleh.

but designer clothes continually raise the bar cost wise.

Plokhov: I've seen this in person (showroom) and it is okay. There are some some nice pieces (the unstructured jacket is great (in black though) and I like some of the high-collar jackets) but some of the details are haphazard (like the zips) and some of the choices are off (the squared bottoms of the blazers, some of the forced asymmetry, etc).

Ervell: :uhoh:

Siki Im (Link): I can't decide about this. The jeans are seriously throwing me off on some of the fits. And then there is stuff like this. But I really like most of the silhouettes (voluminous without being over the top) and many of the individual pieces look nice (especially the outerwear which has a clean techwear-ish look). This and this and this is good.

I have been following it closely but I also share much different tastes when it comes to womenswear. For one I could barely stand the Pugh collection but the Balenciaga had me laughing (of joy mind you) as it was so much to take in. But yes I did like Dries and Ann. Dries less than mens but Ann much more. Only collection I truly hate so far may be Pucci. I just can't get into it and feel that the Missoni take was much better except for a few of those nasty looking patch monstrosities.
