To anyone with experience with the Corso, what's the sizing conversion?

I did a search and it seems that I'd need to size down probably 1 or 1.5?

when I tried on the Corso (2 different seasons) I found they fit fuckin huge...my usual size 7 I was swimming in and I doubt an insole could have filled the gap

so 1.5 from your US size is probably a good idea but YMMV

hey guys, could use some advice on this matter. the top layer of the heel on one of my pairs of ps "cage" shoes split apart on the weekend. see pic below -

am rather pissed about it, considering they're less than six months old and haven't been put through a ton of wear either. the same shoe also has a crack on the heel layer above the one which split off. customer support said i had to send them back to the store (in another city), who may/may not be able to help fix them. is this something a local shoe cobbler could fix? i don't want them to be out-of-action for weeks and weeks (if avoidable). should they just reattach the part that came off? (it was nailed on) or replace the heel with another similiar/the same? and if the latter, would they need to do both shoes so they match? (apologies if any of these questions are stupid - have never had shoes repaired before)

Are the Paul Smith stores currently having any sales at the moment?

^^ technically yes, but not really. there is a 3 day (wed-fri) private sale that is 50% off entire store but you need an invite card to get the discount. I was there yesterday and asked my SA if the sale was open to anyone who mentioned it and she said no, that only people who got the invite card were eligible for the half off.

How does one acquire or receive such invitations? For future events of course. I mean I have made some purchases in their stores and I think I am in their system but never really got a notice about the sale.

That sucks because the Paul Smith sale is pretty much the only sale I look forward to all year long.
And those Ricard Cordo's looks great. I might have to get them once if I ever see them on sale.
