I get what you're saying there, but the pig jousting stuff has to be seen in context. It's a sign of how much Tyrion is suffering precisely because he possesses so much dignity in spite of everything that has happened to him

I agree about context. It ties back perfectly to the Purple Wedding. Tyrion is so upset at the dwarf jousting, so angry, the result is something he wished for, but his anger helps implicate him. His own jousting shows the depths to which he has fallen. A character, that because of his own physical issues, more quickly has a fall to the absolute bottom. Arya, because she is a youth, has the same type of fall. But the other adult great families, even when shamed, still are treated as highborn.

I think that if Peter Dinklage can nail his role in Elf playing an obnoxious children's book author who is super-prickly about his stature, he can handle a little *** ********.

what's-her-name blondie dragon lady is the most annoying actor but I'm not sure it's because of the script/story or because she seems to be only capable of portraying one emotion (+ her ****).

Season 2 was largely a let down so I hope they come back strongly here.
