Just received the Bobby “merlot” cordovan’s from Mr Porter. Really nice colour, similar to the Alden 8 but without the lacquered finish.

Really nice shoes.I think they look great and I'm not a loafer man either. The kudu really suits loafers, makes them look a bit more rugged but still very elegant.
I had some generic ones off amazon. I’ve used on a pair of boots that fit oddly. They didn't work alas on the loafers are were still too big! They can come off easily though but it’s only one pair I have.Really nice shoes.
How do you attach heel pads?
Mine always peel of due to heel rub.
If you asked my wife she’d say 21 years...Out of interest, what’s the oldest boot you’ve all got? In terms of age/number of wears (resoles included). Really interested in how long some of you have had a particular boot
Mmmmm Caramel! The shine on these boots is really nicely in the sunshine.
I’m guessing the colours are Teck, Cotto and Mogano. These were from a collab with Hummingbirds’ Hill in Japan.Multi colour cordovan sounds interesting, any pictures? Much regret I missed those monkey boots now. Anyone have a pair in uk9 they want to sell?
He’s had a few pairs. Must’ve bought from a clearance. Good price and nice shoe. I’ve got it Caramel and Sign nearly bought his nine when he had it but resisted!Talking of Kudu, I just grabbed a pair of size 10(UK) Woodstocks in polo kudu for £165 delivered. The seller has one remaining pair: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/233252552274
