I would not be surprised if some pairs of outlet Grassmere bought during the sale are returNed this week . I was very disappointed , ended up getting a Sanders Cheltenham instead for trips to Costa , lol .
As I said on Boots they’re an underrated boot. I got a pair of the grained ones for something daft like £130 on sale a month or two ago and the finishing is bang on! Bought my mate a pair so ended up being more expensive than intended but bloody good allrounder, I find it can cope with Tesco trips too....??

@Mikedbfast mentioned a Bourton in a non-5 fitting not too long ago and it’s had me wondering— is it usual to find Tricker’s available in a variety of fittings or is that an MTO feature?
[/QUOTE]

Cant remember that , though I am getting on a bit , lol .

My leather soles Ilkley are a fit 5 on the 4444 last . I do remember Reiver and Trickers Instagram mentioning an mto for a retailer of pair of zug Bourton in fitting 6 off the 4444 last which is extra wide .

Can you imagine if Trickers had a social media page for posts of “ where are you wearing your Tricker‘s“ ..... . Weekend adventurers be like , the cinema with gf , shopping for more shoes and boots , the pub ...?

Sorry for misattribution— It was the post about the fitting 6 Bourton that started me wondering about the differences between 5 and 6, and whether a Grassmere would end up being too wide. All the discussion yesterday and today was helpful, thanks.

Zug watch will have to resume later— off now to walk the moors (and some hallways, sidewalks, a grocery store, etc)

I wouldn't bother waiting on a discount there either!
