Here I present a 4 -> 3 suit Ralph Lauren Black Label megathread for your consideration. And it's a special one since it is the first of my listings featuring the grail business/formal event suit - solid navy single breasted notch lapel. This was planned to be a 5 suit listing, however I have already sold the 44R version to a returning customer on the forum - http://www.styleforum.net/g/a/564145/rlbl-44r-navy/.

For sale I have four -> three amazing, identical, NWT RLBL suits in sizes 40R/42R/42L/44L. These are single breasted notch lapel suits made to the specifications of the RLBL "Anthony" cut. The suit pants are also known as "Anthony" in RLBL terms, meaning they are quite slim - see measurements below - and are flat fronted with either side tab adjusters or belt loops (the latter in this example).

Made in Italy by Caruso in a 3 season weight (Fall/Winter/Spring appropriate IMO) 100% wool gabardine. All four suits are solid navy and are therefore very business appropriate and as staple as it gets.

All the styling details we've come to expect from RLBL - precise yet subtle pick stitching on the lapel edges, pocket edges and zip front. Pants are flat front with belt loops and have slanted front pockets and two back pockets with button closure. Included with all suits is the RLBL pouch with spare buttons and matching thread. All attached photos above are of the 40R suit (see spoilered photos below for the other sizes).

The 42L suit is lacking the RL front tag, normally attached to the first buttonhole (so strictly this one is NWOT)

Price is $1200 -> $1100 -> $1000 per suit shipped CONUS or the EU

  • "Anthony" cut

Thanks. I saw the Gabardine. You have some great clothes for sale.

I live in Vegas and am moving to South Florida. So, I am looking for something more in a summer weight.

I saw two you have sold over the last couple years: a gray sharkskin Anthony and blue sharkskin Nigel. Both exactly what I am looking to purchase.

Looking for primarily solid "ish" material. I can do sharkskin (not shiny) and pin dot that is fine, but not really looking for pin stripes, or other noticeable patterns like windowpane, etc. Really subtle patterns might work, but nothing that is noticeable unless one is up close and personal with me.

My e-mail is [email protected]. If any show up, please let me know. I haven't quite figured out how to search easily on the styleforum classified, yet.

I am not that familiar with the Drake and Saville Row lines. I have a fairly athletic build - wider shoulders and a fairly large chest for my size, with a smaller waist. So, slim/athletic fits work well, but not trim/runway model cuts you see so often these days. Traditional cuts have way too much material around the waist. What are your thoughts.

Thanks so much for the quick reply.

Regards,

Duane
