No worries. Overall not a great sale anyway. Not much different than other sites.
Prices were not that impressive.
That was a complete waste of an hour.
Thanks, robin. I remember the first couple sample sales, when everything was priced extremely low. I suppose there are only so many samples that can accumulate in a given year, now.
Don't you know- the cat's out of the bag. Everyone is a fan now.
Here is what I ended up buying:
1x Cabourn Submarine Knit - Navy (48)
1x Nigel Cabourn Henley Cardigan - Army Jersey (48)
FINAL TOTAL: GBP 282.50
King George and Cameraman (in orange) still available?
Saw king in Army and Navy, no cameraman.
is anything NOT a 48 ... lame
The orange Mallory would be perfect if you wanted to be the best dressed guy on a road crew.
So only size 48s in that sample sale?
A bunch of SS12 is up on End. I like the tan Tenzing Jacket- maybe something to replace my beat up Spiewak?
On second thought, that cotton Mallory looks so good. (sleeves look a little short, though)
It's actually Linen. Agreed. It's very nice.
That will wrinkle like crazy...
Finally got through to the Superdenim sale and managed to pick up the navy CPO-style zip up shirt.
I am also expecting my Cameraman to be delivered next week.
Definitely looking forward to my first Cabourn pieces!
Superdenim site seems to be working fine now. Still some good deals if you are size 48.
