Hi All. A quick question regarding the fit of new loafers: I recently purchased a pair of Loake Fenchurch loafers from an internet site and without the luxury of being able to try them on first I simply ordered 6.5 which is what i almost always wear when half sizes are available. The only other pair of decent shoes i own are Loake Churchill 6.5 and whilst im yet to wear them that much so far they've been very comfortable. The issue with the loafers is that they feel quite tight around the outside of my toe area and i can't decide if this is because the leather is quite stiff and needs to be broken in or because they are too small or I need to get a wider model shoe. If it helps, the loafers are on an F last and the Churchill a G, although i bought the Churchills because i preferred the look rather than specifically going for a wider fit. I got the loafers for a good price and if they're likely to break in a bit it would be worth my while persisting with them but equally if i'm likely to ruin them it would be better to send them back now and get a refund whilst i can. ANy thoughts appreciated!
