Just got a new pair of shoes - AE Weybridges. 2 questions -

1. What shade of brown is this? I may buy some of thier polish.
2. If I were to use AE's merlot polish on this, what do you think the results would be? Look like total crap or start giving it a bit of a reddish hue?

if its a dark brown, I dont think color would change much from using a Merlot polish. I have used a dark brown polish on an a dark tan shoe and barely noticed any change

Those appear to be Mocha...AE's title for dark brown. You can get the shoe cream in Mocha. A more natural transition may be their Chili color, if you want to introduce a reddish hue to the shoes.

Honestly I'd just head into an AE store and ask them which polish they'd recommend.

Not sure the Weybridge was ever sold in Mocha, but in any case you're more likely to get the right answer by calling their cust. svc. and giving them the code inside the shoe. Or else ask a store sales associate.
