So I've just acquired a pair of AE Clifton's, and they're clearly more dressy than casual, so I'd like to buy some trees. Should I just buy the trees on the Allen-Edmonds website? What is the difference/benefit of the combination or full toe trees? And are these good quality or should I look to something cheaper and less branded?

In the same boat. Although maybe Men's Clothing would make more sense for this thread...

So if you aquired the shoes in a store, what did they say?

I prefer some like these (mine are with vents):

Mine, with air vents, are about 25 bucks (these in the picture are actually 9,90 Euro).

In the beginning I bought a woodlore for 57,50 euro. They don't work for me.

I get trees from Bexley. If you buy a lot at a time, they give a good discount.

There is something about having the brand of the shoe on the shoe tree that is worth the couple extra bucks in my book. I can't quite explain why, bu tI just enjoy it.

No need to explain. If you can afford it, then enjoy the extra pleasure...

Go to Century21 down by gound zero. They have Woodlore combination trees for like $12. I bought 10 pairs. Woodlore is the brand AE uses AFAIK & I like them better than the ones I got at Nordy Rack.
