Any guys tried either of these? The Paul Mitchell is sulfate free, but it does contain silicones. It looks like the Aveda is both sulfate and silicone free. I've used both recently, and they both seem to be a good product. I want to like the Aveda shampoo more because it seems more natural, but to be honest, the Paul Mitchell seems to leave my hair looking a little better.

I've used PM Double Hitter for the past year or so (I love the way it foams), and stopped because it ultimately does not do great things for my skin. My wife uses Aveda, and I steal hers every so often, but I've mostly been using a soapnut shampoo (see e.g. http://www.amazon.com/NaturOli-Soapberry-Shampoo-Organic-Natural/dp/B003P85MAM) in the meantime. Also have a bottle of L'Occitane Antipeliculaire that I rotate to from time to time.

Thanks. Yeah, I noticed the PM really foams a lot! Was it causing scalp problems or irritating the skin by your forehead, or something else?
