I would try to ignore all the little things, the cholesterol, the sugar, the calories, fat, the acid reflux and the lactose intolerance, if any of them are issues at all. The biggest threat in drinking milk is the longterm consumption of Bovine Growth Hormones. I'm not going to go into too much detail or dig up a bunch of research on it, I'm sure it's in here somewhere, and if you're concerned you could do a quick google. The logic behind it is that these hormones are meant to boost the growth and development of young calves.

Studies suggest that the consumption of these hormones, especially at a later age DO contribute to the development of a few types of cancers (Breast, Ovarian, and Prostate)

I, despite all this, love milk.

Whenever anyone says something along the lines of it being unnatural to consume milk, I always consider that carnivores most definitely consume the mammary glands of prey.

i think milk in itself is okay but the **** they put in the milk is what should worry us.for example im originally from europe and i go back once a year to visit my grandparents who have a small farm, with a few cats.they absolutely go nuts for milk, sounds reasonable right.
NOW back in north america the two cats we have owned WILL NOT touch milk, they only drink water.they smell it make a face and back away from it.obviously they smell something in there that is unnatural (hormones, presrvatives other additives etc etc).i have also asked a freind who also has a cat and that cat wont touch milk either.something to think about.

Raw Organic milk is a better alternative to regular milk. Also, as we age, our ability to digest milk gets weaker (digestion in general gets weaker as well).

Zero gravity weakens the digestive system too. That's why astronauts have to eat in small quantities throughout the day.

I thought it was milk that weakens gravity?

I know this somewhat nitpicky, but it's microgravity. There is no such thing as zero gravity. Sorry, but whenever I see this I

Biochemically, that's why we run out of lactase after a certain age and that is why many people eventually become lactose intolerant.

Ya, but I don't think lions get explosive diarrhea after eating gazelle *******. They can probably handle the small volume.

Why once said that he eats cheese because he likes it and it has calories. I'd say the same about milk.

The digestive system responds to its stresses like all bodily systems. Eat beans after not having any resistant starches for an extended period of time and the same digestive upset will occur (although in the case of beans and such the enzymes can naturally be re-administered to the digestive tract).

Actually, neither. Both astronaut and space shuttle are falling towards the earth at the same speed.

There's no way this is possible. I used to drink 1 gallon of milk every two days and I never got any cavities. Now, I don't and I'm much more cavity-prone
