Pepe -- if you read this, I thought I'd mention one suggestion...

In addition to the great pics on tumblr, it'd be great to know more specific and comparative info across lasts. As a relatively new customer, it's hard to make educated guesses/opinions about any differences (both fit and shape) between the New Rey, Ben, Vil, Ama, etc. lasts.

true, never thought of that as being such a costcutter.
Nah their top line is definitely hand welted goodyear (oxymoron? you get what i mean anyway) unless they're flat out lying on their blog - they've posted pictures too.

I've found my shoemaker but it's nice to have a relatively cheap brand i can recommend to noobs as being good value.

To be 100% clear: Does this mean they use a leather welting strip which they handstitch to the lasted upper and then use the goodyear welting machine to attach the insole to the welt?
