Yes, this is my first poast, but I've been lurking for quite some time now and I've grown to like this forum. I decided to finally break down and join for two reasons:

1. To get free shipping on Spoo's eBay auctions.

and

b) To share something that a friend and I made that was inspired by a MC threak.

The backstory:

It all began last year when I was reading a thread started with a video of Luciano Barbera preparing himself for his harrowing day of luxury. In that thread, there was a cartoon of the video with the star saying "Oh, yeah. **** yeah. Let's do this." and such and so on. In a terrific twist, the cartoon ended with a person waking up from a dream. I seriously cried from laughing at that cartoon, and from time to time would go searching for it...a little light bulb appeared above my head.

A friend and I decided to do a video along the lines of the Barbera video, but along the way it morphed into something much different. The result is below. We did this in about a week and did it out of pure fun. It's been accepted into a couple film festivals so far, which is pretty cool.

Anyway, I figured it would only make sense to come full circle and share the result of a drunken, late-night idea inspired by a MC thread.

Yes, that thread was nearly pure genius.

But not quite.
