Most Euro designers are too next-level for me, but I find this fall collection remarkably wearable, with the exception of the disco and leather pants. I think I'd kop everything else in the collection if I had a bottomless supply of money. Sadly, I probably won't be able to kop even one item.

I guess that's why I asked if you truly do care what I have to say or if you're taking my apathy toward MMM as an insult to your own tastes. There's definitely worse stuff out there, but MMM seems to either be unwearable or basic and there's very little middle ground. A lot of the shows lack cohesion among looks. It falls somewhere in the no man's land between runway show (think early aughts Raf or Dior Homme) and wearable twists on classics (Paul Smith, Costume National). It just never hits that sweet spot and it seems like there's always some type of White Rabbit amongst the basics that distracts the viewer from an otherwise 'meh' collection. I generally like the boots, though.

Yes to the non-involvement extent.

Noooo Vanna is okay since he's in DC.

I'm talking about all the Jr. Fashion Editors running around Bryant Park this week.

I don't know why you get insulted because I don't like a collection that seems pressed and flat after spending the past three decades under a metal stamper in a mothballed factory. Disco signaled the end of bands that dressed and sounded like The Guess Who -- and as much as I love Clap for the Wolfman, I still know the song's namesake is as dead as the band's looks. At least MMM paid a little homage to Saturday Night Fever with the disco pants while keeping the look firmly planted in the Vietnam era with the flat narrow-lapel earthtone blazers and synthetic trousers. I just wish they did a cuban-heeled boot.
