Would any from the linen sale work in a conservative business dress environment? Or only for casual wear?

There was no plan, but, created one in response to your message:

Linen-cotton sale, 20% off on these products.

Use coupon: LINEN_COTTON_SALE

Wow, great response from Luxire! But GAHHHHH! Just placed an order yesterday, should have checked this thread first.

Just received my very first pair of Luxire trousers. I went with the Dugdale Prince of Wales worsted wool. I've never done a MTM trousers before and this is my first attempt. I tweaked a pair of Epaulet trousers in the Driggs fit for this pair, and it's also the first pair I've gotten with pleats.

I'm very happy with the quality and build of the pair, but I'm pretty sure there can be areas of improvement to the fit.

Firstly, I didn't measure my waist. So I just picked a waist measurement I thought I was. So this pair came slightly loose in the waist. Never mind I guess.

Secondly, maybe I shouldn't have stuck with something as slim as the Driggs. I'm thinking of adding more to the knee and hem.

Lastly, which is my main eyesore is the bunching and pulling of fabric at the back, which I believe is very common.

I'd love to order more and I hope to have improvements on my next pair. Any recommendations or feedback guys?

Apologies for the terrible lighting, I no longer own a flash.

Would only recommend for conservative casual business dress or casual wear. I work in a casual BD environment and regularly wear my linen/cotton blend shirts (freshly ironed).

Agree with ellsbebc. All of those shirts are pretty casual. I wear them to work but am definitely on the casual side. Especially those cool linen cotton ones, they have an open weave and are not very fine. I have a shirt of the Forest Green and a swatch of the white.

I haven't posted here in years. Not that I was particularly active in the first place but I have been visiting the forums regularly enough to keep up with all the hubbub.

I just made my first order with Luxire. I have found many of your posts here super helpful and I am surprised at the flexibility of Luxire's custom program, especially given the price-point. While I can't vouch for the Luxire experience on a first-hand level just yet, I have to say that they're doing a put-up job for what seems to be quite the ambitious operation. It can't be easy to do what they're doing and I wish them the best of luck in refining their product and service!

For now here's a shout out to Broke and Bespoke (tumblr), and those whose order numbers he referenced (and I used) in one of his more recent posts about Luxire shirts. You've definitely made my task easier!

As soon as I receive my order I will be all to happy to share the results with you. I owe you that.

For what to expect: Two shirts.

One is in the Chatham Blue Distressed Pique cloth. I decided I needed the Lupo (referring to Order #7302) at a reasonable cost, and with my tiny measurements...there's a good chance I would have been disappointed with an online splurge on the actual Eidos polo.

The second is a basic White Pinpoint Oxford with the edited soft collar and accentuated roll (referring to Order #7921). I've never had a white OCBD, just blues. I think in nearly 10 years of giving a crap about what I wear...it's about time I did something about that.

Cheers y'all. See you in a few weeks.

Hi

I'm the satisfied owner of 3 linen/linen-cotton shirts snagged during the recent sale. Got them all with the broke & bespoke BD collar which I like. However, I'm about to place another order and was wanting some advice from you all as to which non button down collars work best when worn open without a tie. NOBD I or II? or something else?

Also, any easy way of searching the forum for pics of Luxire finished products?

thanks!
