Looking for authentic alligator gloves, help appreciated!

As the title suggests, I would like to buy a pair of authentic alligator gloves, in brown or dark cognac. Size 8 1/2 or 9. At a reasonable price (in the $400-$500 range, maybe a bit more for the correct pair).

They are available, but good luck finding them in that price range. I was looking for a pair a couple of years ago and the cheapest I found was $1300/pair at BG in NYC. BB has them for $2000 and both Prada and Tom Ford have them for about $2400/pair.
